12th December 2018 - Yule Logs Ahoy!

We are now entering a cave full of mince pies and plum porter. This means we won’t be doing anything other than lie in a stupor. However we will be continuing to plan next year’s shenanigans. So keep an eye on the gig page and see what’s happening. Only this week we have confirmed that we will be opening for the magnificent Beltane Fire at The Water Rats in London in April... that follows Glasgow, Yorkshire, Southampton, Milton Keynes and who knows where else... AND we’ll be recording... AND we’ve got a couple of surprises up our Santa sleeves...

Merry Time and a Happy Time and cake, from JUMP.

See you all next year!

9th November 2018
We enjoyed a wonderful gig at The Limelight Theatre in Aylesbury a few weeks ago and even posted an audience-filmed version of Breaking Point on our YouTube channel. Phone videos are not usually our medium of choice but this one captured ‘the rant’ as PROG magazine described it, with pretty good sound.

Next week we travel to HRH Prog Festival in north Wales where we’ll be sharing the stage with the likes of Hawkwind and The Strawbs. Arthur Brown is there as well... bringing to mind a memorable night in The Boardwalk in Sheffield when we got to work with him. After that it’s back to High Wycombe Arts Centre on Nov 24, before we conclude 2018’s live work opening for Lifesigns at The Bullingdon on Nov 28th.

There are some gigs already confirmed in March 2019 that will take us to our 29th anniversary in April. Fancy that... 30 years of Jump is just around the corner...

Autumn Bulletin - October 2018
It's now completely autumn and we’ve enjoyed amazing response to our recent gigs. Thank you to everyone who made the gigs so memorable. Next month we head up to North Wales for our 4th appearance at HRH Prog - some great bands playing... including Hawkwind... We’re on the main stage on Saturday, late afternoon. After that it’s madness at our Wycombe Wassail at Arts4Every1 before the acoustic trio of JDJ, Ronnie and Steve open proceedings for Lifesigns at the Bullingdon in Oxford.
In the meantime we creep forward with recording and as ardent followers of our social media will have noted, were off to Glasgow, Maltby and Southampton in March... with another excellent March gig to be announced shortly... watch our space...

24th September 2018

We’ve enjoyed appearing at two fantastic festivals this month. We opened ‘Resonate’ at the O2 Islington and headlined ‘Remembering the Red Lion’ in Sidcup. Both gigs were huge successes all round and there’s a nice review of ‘Resonate’ here... We round September off with an opening slot for Lifesigns at The Robin in Wolverhampton. Then all eyes will be on Aylesbury in October.

12th September 2018

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend to welcome in the autumn, beginning with an acoustic support at a sold out Craufurd Arms in Milton Keynes, opening for the awesome Lifesigns. Then the next day it was down to the O2 in Islington to open the Resonate Festival and what a splendid event that was. Look out for the rather grand Verbal Delirium from Greece - we appeared with them earlier in the year at Winter’s End - they were great... again!
Next up is Remembering the Red Lion Festival at The Iron Horse in Sidcup (headlining) on Sept 22nd before more Lifesigns fun at The Robin 2 in Wolverhampton on the 26th...

23rd July 2018

We are very pleased to have been invited again to open some shows for one of progressive rock’s finest ensembles, LIFESIGNS. We’ve worked with JY and the boys many times and look forward to playing some acoustic JUMP at The Craufurd in Milton Keynes on Sept 7th and The Bullingdon in Oxford on November 28th.

The night after the Milton Keynes show, we’ll be revved up in our full electric glory to begin proceedings at the one-day Resonate Festival at the 02 Academy in Islington, London. This is a fantastic lineup (headlined by Lifesigns) at a fantastic price. Six top UK progressive bands for £25 in a superb venue. We will be on EARLY so get your lunch wolfed down quick.

Tickets for the show at Aylesbury Limelight Theatre on Oct 13 are now on sale and SELLING... so get yours NOW...

25th April 2018 - That Festival Feeling

A couple of nice road trips coming up in the midst of the recording of our next album. Sunday 29th of April will see us appearing at Winter’s End Festival in Chepstow where we’ll be hooking up with Lifesigns who headline. Winter’s End has an exceptional line-up this year with proceedings beginning on the Thursday with legendary guitarist, Gordon Giltrap and moving through a weekend of some brilliant bands. Expect JUMP onstage around 3.30pm.
In May we head down to the south coast to play in Southampton at the excellent Talking Heads Venue with some very special guests. I Am The Manic Whale will be opening for us - we first met them at Danfest in Leicester a while ago. They’re great so get there early. This will be our first gig in the city for over 10 years!

The album is developing nicely and we’ll be previewing some of the new material at both these gigs. See ya there.

16th March 2018
We’re back...

Just over a week to go now before we make our long-awaited return to the stage. First up is a visit to The Wesley Arts Centre in Maltby near Rotherham in South Yorkshire to play for The Classic Rock Society. We’ll be following this with some great live work this year at Winter’s End Festival, Talking Heads in Southampton, Deerstock Festival, Resonate Festival, Remembering The Red Lion Day, Aylesbury Limelight, Wycombe Arts and HRH Prog... oh and we’ll be hooking up with Lifesigns as well to open for them at a rearranged show in Milton Keynes. Check out the gig list, follow us on Facebook and you won’t miss a thing.

Oh and there are more studio sessions taking place NOW...

25th January 2018
We are delighted to announce that we have been invited, once again, to play the prestigious HRH Prog Festival in November. This will be our 4th appearance at this leading event and this year we’ll be on the main stage on Saturday 17th. Other confirmed acts include Hawkwind, Strawbs and the utterly brilliant Arthur Brown, who once gave us a warm room to share, a pan of stew and did us the honour of standing in the wings during our set and shaking our hands as we left the stage of the Sheffield Boardwalk a few years ago. Oh and Pendragon are there as well... they’re a good bunch! Our invitation to play this wonderful event adds yet another excellent outing to this year’s live schedule.
